HEy...this may seem like a stupid question, but I don't give a shit. I have my new desktop sitting here with no monitor. I also have a laptop, and was wondering if it's in anyway possible to connect my desktop to the laptop monitor. I don't want to buy a monitor but if I have to I will. I've never seen this done so I'm guessing it's not possible. Just thought I'd see if you guys knew anything..thanks!

nope, you would have to tap into the connector for the display and its not a smart idea to be meddling in a laptop without knowing what youre doing. If you want a monitor on the cheap, find a CRT. There are tons of places that give them away for free or dirt cheap. If you want a good monitor, especially for gaming, 20in widescreen is the way to go.

u could connect your lappy to a monitor but cant do the reverse without serious consequences lol
