so we got a new motherboard and ram...went to take everything apart(remember this is the computer we had to put by the window at the lan cuz it was getting so hot!) and a few of the post had melted to the motherboard!!!

we still have the processer fan, but if ANYONE has an old cpu that is taking up space in your closet...get ahold of me...we need it to be 775 socket...other than that it don't matter if it's 1.8 single core...we just need to get her pc back up and running...thanks guys!

Socket 775 has no pins on the bottom of the cpu. The pins are in the socket itself.
