Bad Company 2 beta?

Will someone tell me where to get the beta? Is it an open download or do i need to preorder?

As tempting as it is to say go to Google.com, there is an interesting lack of information. Pre-orders definitely get beta access. On the 28th they'll be opening a site on the BFBC2 website where you can download the game. As for getting a key, I don't know how that's going to be handled if you didn't pre-order.

You can pre-order at a store or on Steam. I did it on Steam because it's only 55 dollars AU, which is half price for a video game in my country.

If you bought it off steam, EA said it will become downloadable on your Steam's 'My games' list on the 28th.
